So that's where they buy their Tracht!

This past weekend, I was exploring downtown Kaiserslautern, which I already know reasonably well. However, I love to really experience the city and I find something new each time.

For example, I looked at the Profishop (professional shop) with new eyes. This store sells work wear for people. I've seen the typical construction workers' coats and trousers before but this time the clothes (Tracht) for guild members stuck out to me. After I visited the Meisterschule für Handwerker (read about it here), I realized that this must be one of the places where the students buy their traditional clothes. Cool, huh?
