I have friends here who have no car and I'm always impressed by how they make it work. I had been hoping to leave my car in the US but public transportation options to my job are limited so I do use my car for that. I hope to begin commuting by bike soon though! aroundthehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06055653945403820182noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6094192455188817050.post-32393332362898136572014-08-03T21:29:53.282+02:002014-08-03T21:29:53.282+02:00I just discovered your blog recently and have enjo...I just discovered your blog recently and have enjoyed reading the posts! I agree with almost everything on this list, especially #2. The only thing I disagree with is the train travel. We just don't like being at the mercy of public transportation schedules plus it's not as cheap as everyone thinks it is. It can also be very time-consuming, so we prefer to drive when we can and have gotten used to paying for parking and maneuvering through tiny towns. Looking forward to reading more of your posts (and by the way, we are your "neighbors" in Wiesbaden!)Travels and Tippleshttp://www.travelsandtipples.com/noreply@blogger.com
